Best way to clean sweat off of Beats over-ear headphones?

I own a pair of Beats Solo3 headphones, and I'm unsure what is the best way may be to clean them since they are currently sweaty. Would it be best to use a microfiber cloth that's been only slightly dampened with warm water, or could I use a typical washcloth dampened with warm water instead? And should I use a little bit of soap while cleaning the ear cups (if so, does it matter what kind of soap I use with the washcloth)?
