Migration from Lion to Mojave

How do I move a User account from 10.7.5 (Lion) to a new iMac (Mojave)? My wife's old machine has been stuck in time for too long. Also have a Time Machine backup.

You can use Migration Assistant. I probably wouldn't migrate the apps since the apps are so old they most likely won't work on Mojave without updates anyway.

I don't use Time Machine, so I'm not sure how to advise you there.
