Hi ItxxKally,
Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand that you've lost one of your AirPods and you'd like to know what steps you can take to locate it. It sounds like you've already tried using Find My iPhone and only one AirPod, which you have in your possession, is appearing. I can understand reaching out about this; I'd like to help. I'd recommend trying the suggestion and information below:
"If your AirPods are separated from each other, you see only one location at a time on the map. Find the AirPod that you see on the map and put it in its case. Then refresh the map and find the other one.
If you didn't turn on Find My iPhone before your AirPods went missing, you can't use it to locate your device. If you see a gray dot next to your AirPods on the map, you can't play a sound to find them but you might be able to get directions to the location where they were last connected. If your AirPods do come back online, you'll get a notification on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch you use them with.
Find My iPhone is the only way that you can track or locate a lost or missing device. There is no other Apple service that can find, track, or otherwise flag your device for you.
If you're using a Managed Apple ID assigned to you by a school or institution, you don’t have access to Find My iPhone.
If you still can't find your AirPod or Charging Case, or if something is damaged, get the serial number and then contact Apple Support for a replacement. Then learn how to set up your replacement.
You can also learn more about AirPod pricing and service options."
If your AirPods are lost
Best Regards.
