iPhone4, in my pop account- Comcast. I have 2 messages(emails) that read (No Sender) This message has no content.. with a sub folder message or 3.... I am unable to open this email message and when I click edit there is no dot to check to delete... I have no idea what this is.. Do you?
Goto settings and turn off threaded view for e-mail and force-close your mail app and relaunch. If it does not work, reboot phone after making setting. There is a bug in iOS4 with threaded e-mail view. Sorry you are having problem. Hopefully this bugfix will be in new iOS release.
Not sure how to do what you are telling me,you mean the Organize by thread tab? Not sure how to force quite the mail app, This is the mail app that comes default with the phone I did not download the comcast app..
Ok I got it.. with the original iPhone you could force quit an application when open by holding down the home button... but with the newer iPhones and including the 4 this will launch Voice Control...
Here's How... Launch the mail app, hold the sleep/wake button located top right, when the slide slide off comes up, then hold down the home button about 6 seconds... when you return to the mail these message should be gone, they were for me..... Thanks everyone.. found this info on the internet..
I get the same thing a couple times a week (iPhone 4 w/latest updates). By accident, I found that if I go out of that mail account, go view another email account, then come back to the first one, the No-Subject/No-Sender emails are gone.
