Burning a disc in the order of the playlist.

I have iTunes 12.9.5. When burning a CD/DVD, the order of songs is different than the playlist order. Can this be corrected. I'm using a PC.

Windows, Windows 10

Hello AEH1 and welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I see you are having some issues with song order when burning a CD via iTunes. You may want to take a look at an old post about this issue which offers a few different solutions.

Playlist order resorted when burning play… - Apple Community

1) Is this an audio disc or a data disc filled with MP3 files? If it's an audio disk, try playing it in a player that is not using iTunes such as a car or home stereo system. If it plays in order there, then the issue is simply with how iTunes displays. If that is the case then you can change how iTunes displays the data by clicking on the column by which you want to list sorted.

2) Right-click on the playlist and choose "copy to play order" before burning.

3) Make sure you are not in Grid or Album view but rather, Song view before burning.

Cheers!
