What is the exact model of your laptop? You can get this information by clicking the Apple menu and selecting "About this Mac" or by entering your serial number here.

Also what version of macOS was previously installed and what version are you now trying to install?

What is the exact error you are receiving?

A little more information on when this error happens might be needed as well.

Are you booting into local Recovery Mode, Internet Recovery Mode (which keys used), or using a macOS USB installer?
