Mini IPad A1455

That iPad Mini is a nearly 7-year old device, now.

Its internal hardware is too old and underpowered to run ANY newer iOS versions.

AND, as of this year, many third party app developers are now more quickly starting to abandon older iDevices and older iOS 9 and 10 version supoort, after 2-3 years, as I predicted back then.

Sorry.

So, you are really better off, at some future date, to purchase a new iPad from Apple or purchase a discounted, refurbished iPad from Apple’s Refurbished & Clearance section of Apple’s Website.

Support for older iOS 9 and 10 devices is, NOW, beginning to end.

You have an original iPad Mini, which cannot be updated past iOS 9.3.5. If you need the newer iOS levels for apps, etc., it's time to buy a newer iPad.
