I cant use the gift card I bought in Portugal (visiting from America) what do I do I want to use it

All iTunes gift cards are country-specific, they can only be redeemed and used in their country of issue - so to redeem a Portuguese card you will need to live in Portugal, and have a Portuguese billing address and payment method
