iPhone Won’t Download Apps

I’ve been unable to download any apps since this morning. I tried to download the Fitbit app and a cloud icon appeared where the get button used to be. I’ve tried:

-Setting the time an hour in advance

-Resetting device

-Signing in and out of app store

-Resetting network settings

-Clearing all the photos out of my cloud save data

I then tried to download another couple of apps. I tap “get”, the wheel spins once or twice, and the button resets back to “get”, no cloud on these apps. Short or a device reset, is there anything that can be done about this?

Hi Colecconnolly,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. It sounds like you aren't able to download apps in the App Store.

You have tried quite a bit of troubleshooting. Check out the steps here: If you can’t download or update apps, or if apps get stuck. Trying to download on another Wi-Fi network would be a good way to isolate the issue further.

You may also want to see if you have any Screen Time Restrictions set up: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

If you do need further help, please contact Apple Support.

Have a fantastic weekend!
