I’ve updated iMac recently - 14.5 OS version. Everything else remaining same, Target Display Mode doesn’t output audio anymore.
Have tried everything.

I have the same problem - as has numerous other users - screen and everything else is OK, I choose the iMac for audio output but there is no sound coming. People have been reporting this problem for over a year - it should be possible to solve this.

Tried that now, did not work, still no sound from the iMac speakers in TDM.
