Using my iMac as a monitor

Hi guys,


I currently have MacBook Pro 15" (2018 - Thunderbolt 3) and iMac 27" (Late 2013 - Thunderbolt 1). I'm thinking to use my iMac as a monitor pairing with MacBook using thunderbolt adapter. Is it possible to do so with my iMac model as Target Display Mode? Is Thunderbolt 1 to 3 adapter available in market?

Use your iMac as a display with Target Display Mode - Apple Support


You need this adapter

Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter - Apple

and this cable

Apple Thunderbolt Cable (2.0 m) - White - Apple
