Noticed that I’m receiving receipts of payment from Apple iTunes as well as amazon music are the two connected. Never noticed these two receipts in the past.

No, they are not connected. Both Apple and Amazon have a music service. It's possible to subscribe to both at the same time. If you don't feel you need both, unsubscribe to the one you don't want.
