How do I move an APP to a prior page?
iPhone XR, iOS 12
Useless? Maybe.
The method doesn't change (from an exixting page to the next or previous one). If you have room on page 6, move that app from page 7 to 6, dragging that icon to the left.

The two guides are useless: I'm trying to move an APP to a previous page and they don't cover that. So, once again I want to move a single and only APP on page 7 to page 6 (the previous page which right now has 13 APPs, so this would be the 14th APP on page 6 and then obviously page 7 would be empty.
I press on the APP and the X appears, I then drag to the left edge and it disappears. So I tap done and then page 7 is unchanged. I'm using iPhone XR with a cover and maybe that is causing the problem. One day, I'll drive to an Apple Store about 15 miles away and see if they can solve my problem. But thanks for your help.
