When I share media to a shared photo album it uses a very old photo next to my name. It has not updated when I change the profile pic on my iCloud account. Any suggestions on what I can do to try and change the photo?
MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15
In the status line (for you > Activity) I am seeing the key photo from the people album, not my iCloud user photo.
But have you have you tried to change your iCloud account photo in the Settings on the web page www.icloud.com on a computer? You need the desktop version of the iCloud page at www.icloud.com on a computer, not the version on an iPhone.
Do you man the photo next to your name on the public webpage of the album?
I am seeing the most recent photo I shared to an album as thumbnail of the album.
It’s the photo next to my status updates. I.e. “Tom shared 4 photos to the album”. Then it has a really old photo next to that
Perfect! Thank you that's fixed it
Great! You're welcome 😊
How do I change my profile picture on iCloud shared photo albums?
