iPad not charging

Question

iPad not charging

Ipad does not charge. Cable works on other devices. iPad indicates charging but is not, in fact, doing so. Have tried restart.

iPad Air, iOS 12

Hello,

Lets try restarting your iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until “Slide to power off..” appears. Once your iPad has powered off press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears. Please verify that your iPad is running the latest version of the system software. Settings -> General -> Software Update.
