what printers work best with airprint

Thanks, Smokerz, I saw that list. A couple of hundred of them it looks like.

I was actually hoping someone would have some personal experience choosing among them. Reviews by professionals are not much help (AirPrint capable or not) and Amazon reviews are peppered with “connection fails” or “won’t wake up” or “iPhone prints 4x6” or “whines constantly, even when not in use” not to mention “Bricked in a year” and “total crap.”

Given I have a homogeneous Apple ecosystem, I figured this forum would be the place to find “All us Apple guys know that xxxx is the most reliable compact AirPrint printer if you don’t care about color or scanning or copying.”
