Imovie green screen issues

Hello I was wondering if anyone knows whats going on with imovie as it doesn't want to do the green screen correctly. I know its not the video I'm using since many people used the same thing in their videos without issues. Even my brother had no issues what so ever on his computer with the same videos.

What are you using as background for your green screen?

Green screen works best when it is shot over a natural green background like a wall or a sheet.
If you use a perfect green background created in Photoshop or Powerpoint, it can cause problems. One solution is to create your green photoshop slide with a gradient between two shades of green so it is not so "perfect".

excellent advice ..

or, if your paint-apps offers this feature, use as background 'Clouds' (=in PS/e or Pixelmator under 'Filter/Generators/ ...' ) made of two almost identically greens ...
in my experience 'adding noise' doesn't do the trick ...-

Well I don't know what the background is in the video of Chris Pirillo, as far as I know its a real green screen, but that video was used in a contest a while back and no one I knew had issues using it, My brother simply just added it to his video and it worked right away, so I'm not sure if it may be a issue with my imovie or something.
