ipad bought in US replacement in philippines

Hi All,

I bought my iPad Pro 11' from US when my friend visited US ( through Amazon), I am currently staying in Philippines. There is an issue with the screen as it is showing 1 horizontal line on it. I gave it to authorized Apple service center to check and replace it. But i got call and the representative told me to get the replacement device from US since the device was not registered in philippines. I want to know if Apple doesn't support replacement globally for ipad?
