can' find my trash icon

I can't find my trash icon in my dock, I've search the dock and it's not there.

MacBook Pro 13", 10.14

Did you try rebooting the machine?

If it is not on the most far right of the Dock.

It would be an anomaly for it to be gone—what changed to precipitated a missing trash icon?

You can recreate your ~/.Trash directory for your admin account simply, following the instructions after the jump:

(The one caveat I like to emphasis— always copy and paste terminal commands if you have the option)

remember to backup early and often
