Trovi.com & Bing infiltration
Ahoy there Mates and Matettes!
I have a conundrum I have never experienced until I thought I was getting help from and HP help site. I instead was an Indian hacker and dropped a josepov virus in my computer. I monitor this regularly, and it attempts to reappear and I find it in applications and delete it. I remove cookies anytime I am using my computer for my business or personal searches.
This weekend, somehow in a search on a news article that was dropped in messenger on FaceBook, a virus got into my computer and is overriding my Safari / Google preferred search engine and in rerouting itself to a Trovi.com website and search engine. I want this gone.
How do I reset my Safari to remove this issue. I have never used Bing as a search engine. I only use Safari and Google keeping my world as simple as possible. I use my site for business. If I can't do this I will have to stop using my laptop for my business and personal correspondence all together.
This is the address to the hack... through Facebook... it is a fake website and dropped the override...
Please help! I need my laptop as an entertainer... Thank you for your time!
