2019 MBP Graphics card: Upgrade worth it for only Music Production?

I'd mainly be using a new 15" MBP I plan on buying for making music and wanted to know if it's worth it upgrade from the base Radeon Pro 560X with 4GB of GDDR5 memory, to the Vega 16 or 20.

I plan on having this computer for a long time and I like art/video stuff and could possibly see myself getting into that but I'm not a gamer or an engineer so is it worth the upgrade for only my aforementioned needs?

Typically, pro video content producers want as much video power as they can get. Not so sure about music. 4GB VRAM in the base model is still a LOT of VRAM for a notebook computer.

You may be better served by asking in one of the Pro Audio forums. The user base there is more likely to have experience with that compared to this section, which is a pretty general forum.

Whichever way you go, understand that NEITHER RAM, STORAGE, OR VIDEO HARDWARE can be upgraded after you own the computer. Buy what you need now because it will be your "forever configuration."

PS: Their is no "video card." It is integral with the logic board and cannot be removed.
