Trouble listening to music in itunes

Hi,

I have a serious problem with itunes music.

I have to keep re-downloading my entire music list periodically.

I don't know what is wrong with my iPhone or even itunes, but it wastes my internet and it is frustrating.

I tried all the possible solutions found on the internet but it did not work at all.

Would somebody in Apple pleaaaseeeee take a look at my subscriptions and see what the heck is going on with my itunes music.

Thanks

iPhone 5s, iOS 12

We need much more information. Here are a few examples.

  • Do you subscribe to Apple Music?
  • Do you subscribe to iTunes Match?
  • ”re-downloading my entire Music” ... to what device?
  • What are the version numbers of all associated software on that device?
  • How much free space does that device have? How much total space?
  • Is the device communicating with iTunes Music Library? Should it be?

3- iPhone. The device is iPhone

5- Good enough. I checked that.

6- Yes. it's communicating. I did sign off, wait for 5 min and signed in again. But....

You say your free space is “good enough”. “Good enough” means at least 10% of the iPhone’s total space.

Don’t worry about iTunes Match. You subscribe to Apple Music. Yet you want to keep your music on the iPhone and basically have your iPhone ignore your Apple Music subscription. So go to Settings > Music and turn off iCloud Music Library.
