My daughter had someone at school help her activate an I pad mini about 2 years ago, and that person did not give her the information to log in. As my daughter was trusing and did not know that she could not access the ipad if it activated under someone elses iCloud. The i pad mini was a gift from a freind a few years ago. if anyone could help me please let me know

You are now faced with a useless device unless your daughter can get the person who entered the Apple ID and Password to remember what they used. Apple won't help and we can't help. Only the person whose Apple ID and Password the device is tied to can help.
If you have the original purchase receipt for the iPad from Apple or an Apple authorized re-seller, Apple may help you remove the iCloud account.
