My iPad Pro home button stopped working suddenly. What can I do to fix it?

You'll really need to let Apple see the iPad. I had an inoperative home button on one of our iPad's once and Apple had had to replace it. Fortunately, I was still within warranty and I also had AppleCare.
Take it to an Apple store for help. I would suggest getting an appointment.
Thanks, I was hoping I didn’t have to go to the store. Even with appointments, you have to wait 30-45 minutes for assistance.
