Issues with activating iPod touch(7th generation)

I recieved my ipod touch in the mail today. When I tried to set it up it had the "Your iPod touch could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached" error. So I tried activating it through iTunes, and it gave me another error (picture attached). Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
