Has anyone had an issue with their watch (series 3) cracking around the edges recently after charging and have you had any good resolution through Apple? My watch is out of warranty, but has zero impact damage. Cracked along the beveled edge on three sides.

Thank you. Seems expensive. I think it is time to go try Samsung, I will miss my Iphone, Apple Watch, Ipad ... as with the rest of the family and their devices, but after some research this is a normal issue that Apple refuse to acknowledge.
You will only get the same 12 month warranty with Samsung then repairs will become chargeable just like Apple, and as far as I know there is no equivalent to AppleCare. Enjoy the pain of changing ALL your gadgets, we wish you luck.
