How do I get the annual subscription?

There is no annual subscription. What you could do is to buy sufficient iTunes Store (not Apple Store) Gift Cards to cover a year's subscription and redeem them in iTunes. You would need to be careful to top up when necessary, and remember that any other purchese in iTunes such as songs or movies would be drawn from this credit.
