I’m having freezes in the MLB.TV app on Apple TV. This usually happens between innings on during the commercial feeds.
Try force quitting the app by double tapping on the remote's home button to bring up the app switcher, then swipe up
Try deleting the app by holding down on the remote's touch pad until the icon jiggles, press the play/pause button to bring up options. Reload form the app store
If the issue persists then it's something the developer needs to fix
I constantly have this issue also. (happens every 5-10 minutes) It freezes on both my 4k and my regular 1080p version. Freezes on both WIFI and Wired connections. I've deleted the app multiple times to no avail. MLB.tv customer support has offered 0 support. It is really sad how poorly they support this app.
Only work around I have found is to hit 'menu' and select another game currently streaming. Once it loads, I go back to the game I'm attempting to watch. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.... ever... time...
