Smart keyboard (detachable) not working properly with iPad Pro running iOS 12.4

After three months, my detachable smart keyboard for iPad Pro 12.9 (2nd generation) stopped typing letters b, i and v. I suspect it may be a software issue. I am running iOS 12.4. Anyone know of a fix please? It wasn't typing the letter q either, but that was fixed by folding the keyboard backwards.
