Smart keyboard (detachable) not working properly with iPad Pro running iOS 12.4

After three months, my detachable smart keyboard for iPad Pro 12.9 (2nd generation) stopped typing letters b, i and v. I suspect it may be a software issue. I am running iOS 12.4. Anyone know of a fix please? It wasn't typing the letter q either, but that was fixed by folding the keyboard backwards.

Hello,

Something you can try is to clean the metal connectors on the Smart Keyboard and iPad Pro. If you are still experiencing issues then I suggest contacting Apple as there is a extended warranty in place for problems like this.

Thank you. Will do. The connectors have been cleaned, but I am still experiencing issues.
