hi someone had given me his iPad as a gift and I formatted it without knowing his ID so what could I do because is far from me there is no way to contact him quickly and what could I do to get into the set up and continue all the features, Thank you
You will need to contact the previous owner. There is no known way to bypass activation lock. Also see: Turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support
You will need to contact that previous owner to help you properly unlock the iPad.
Without the person’s help, that iPad is useless to you.
Apple cannot help you, either.
