Hello all. I am receiving a message re the "app" I'm using is no longer compatible with my Mac. Actually it's my canon pixma MG 7700 printer will no longer print. I have looked for updates to no avail. Can I no longer use this printer or is there a fix I am unaware of?
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup)... restart.
Any devices that previously appeared in your Printer List and Fax List will need to be added again after resetting the printing system.

Canon is fairly famous for not updating drivers when OSX changes, I can't really blame them, OSX changes way too often.
Did you just Upgrade? Can you restore from a Time Machine backup from when it worked?
I did not just upgrade. I upgraded as soon as the upgrade became available. Only in the last 2 months the printer stopped being compatible. The printer always connected just fine before then. Now I can't print anything. No idea about the time machine option I will look.
