I can't update my iPhone 5S

How do I update my iPhone 5S? It says iOS 10 is the newest version, so I can't update. I will edit tis post for further information.

What is the model number of the phone? An iPhone 5 can not update past iOS 10.3.3. An iPhone 5s can get iOS 12. You may not have a 5s.
