iPhone max x will not download app material

Bought new iPhone max x with 256k. Brought apps down from the cloud. Now apps will not load up? Tried deleting and reinstalling but no luck . Any ideas to fix

Did you try a forced restart? Press the volume up button and release it, press the volume down button and release it, then hold the side button until you see the Apple logo then let go of the button.

Also, are these older apps? If they are 32 bit they will not run on your new iPhone.
