Apple ID locked

I received an email stating that my ID has been locked but the address is weird:

Even though the link they sent looks legit (it's written as https://appleid.apple.com)

it comes up as:

https://appRbAuekYPs879leid.apRbAuekYPs879ple.com

Is this a legit link?

I've had trouble signing in because I'm not sure if I need to put in the spaces when they send the security code
