A few months ago the App Store disappeared off my phone. I can't download any old or new apps and I can't use some apps bc they need to be updated thru the AppStore. I've tried various methods to get it back but nothing seems to work.
How do I get it back on my phone?

Not knowing what the various methods are, the App Store cannot be deleted from the phone, so there are only a couple of ways that it can disappear. First, search the phone and see if it shows in a search result. You can also check Settings>Screen Time and see if Restrictions are on for App Store usage. Lastly, you can go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. That will reset all of your home screens, remove apps from folders and start from scratch with the layout. One of those should bring it back.
