Dock button accidently removed

I accidentally removed the circular silver dock button that gives me access to separate apps at one time. How can I get it back?

I think you mean Launchpad? Just go to Applications folder > Launchpad and drag it into your Dock.

Launchpad! That's it! I hoped it was an application I could just drag back to the dock. Thanks a boatload!

I have my dock on the left side. And it is there, it just did not have the launch pad. My problem was solved though. Thank you for your interest.

Where did you have this button? If you slide your cursor to the bottom of the screen, does the Dock appear?
