No notification of missed FaceTime call

I’ve recently upgraded from the iPhone 6 to XR and since a few people have tried to FaceTime me and I’ve missed the calls whilst my phone was locked and in sleep mode. But when I wake the phone to see my notifications on the locked screen is doesn’t display the fact that I missed a FaceTime call, there’s not even a red circle on the phone icon which displays the recent calls to say I’ve missed a FaceTime call, the only way I know I’ve missed a FaceTime call is to go to my call history but because there’s no notification of a missed FaceTime call I don’t know unless I go to the recent list. Anyone know what’s going on, I’ve tried changing the notification settings with no luck.

To begin open the Settings app and select the notifications section as circled in the screenshot below.

Next as circle below in the next screenshot click on the FaceTime section of the notifications settings.

Finally we find ourselves in the notification settings for the FaceTime app make sure all options match the final screenshot as shown below.

Quick note: The badges option enables or disables the “red circle on the phone icon” you were talking about in your query.

Reply if this does, or does not work!

Cheers!
