Paste shortcut and Screenshot issues

I can no longer paste using Command/V nor can I do a screenshot using Shift/Command/4. I've even installed new OS. What gives?

OK, that's a different story. Connect any usb keyboard and test. If that works as expected then it is a hardware problem with the keyboard.

Also check the command key on the other side to see if that works.

Startup in Safe Mode and see if it works as expected there:

Does the command key still work for other operations?

It rebooted...but just sat there w/black screen and arrow, so I restarted after waiting quite a while. Seems like it might be the command key since I can't refresh either...?

Thanks, I'll try another keyboard. (Btw, the alternate on the right is not working as well.)

When it rebooted, it sat there with just the arrow for quite a while....restarted it and problem is still there. Screenshot still not working.
