Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?

If your purchased this just recently from Apple, then perhaps this can be replaced. This would be under the case that is a faulty device.

You have a limited out-of-the-box warranty for this device, so Contact Apple ASAP and ask what can be done about this.

Whatever the issue, Apple will make a diagnosis of this. Just know that the decision of a swap-out is ultimately Apple’s call.
