Ricoh SP 204 (yes, Evil WinPrinter)

Hi everybody!

So, while spending the day bashing my head against the wall trying to make my Ricoh SP 204 work with Mojave (yes, impossible), I stumbled across a real interesting thread that some nice people in Linux-land were having about a writing driver for it, here: https://blog.hansenpartnership.com/getting-a-windows-printer-ricoh-aficio-sp-204-natively-running-on-linux/#comment-128824

Apparently there's a PPD that's been created for it, here: https://github.com/madlynx/ricoh-sp100/blob/master/RICOH_Aficio_SP_204.ppd

So... I copied it to /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/ and now I am still getting nowhere.

Specifically, I am getting that error message about how my driver was installed incorrectly and to please contact the manufacturer... right.

What am I doing wrong, besides bothering with this glorified space heater?

Any suggestions as to what to try next?

Many thanks,

Inky
