Can i install a newer version of iOS on my i pad i only have a i pad not a computer from Apple i have iOS 5.1.1

You have a 9-year old, 1st gen, 2010 iPad.

That iPad cannot be upgraded beyond its current iOS 5.1.1 version.

Maybe time to think about getting a new or discounted, refurbished iPad from Apple.

A lot has changed with iPad in 9 years.
