Stolen iPhone and now message from apple about it?

My iPhone got stolen in Tenerife. I closed the phone and put it in lost mode on find my iPhone. But now I’m getting a text message from “apple” that that have found my iPhone. I think the texts are scam because I have no email about this, and also the phone is still offline in find my iPhone. (See picture below) what do you think? Is this apple trying to contact me or maybe the thieves trying to get some information to get into the phone...

They are attempting to wrangle the Passcode from you - do not respond


Report the whole thing to the police (see #4)
