I got a new iphone 8 yesterday and its taken since then to get it set up. is the software update supposed to take 2 days? The remaining time for downloading currently says 2-4 days. Should I return my phone? Currently I do not have access to calling or texting only imessage when I am in WIFI

If you had trouble with iTunes as well, then it sounds like an issue with your Internet connection.

If your WiFi is exceptionally slow, I can see that happening... Have you tried using a different WiFi network, or updating using iTunes from your computer instead of over the air?
I haven't tried using a different WIFI, so I will try that. I just didn't want it to restart if I move places. I tried using my itunes last night start it but it wouldn't work. Thanks for your help!
