Movies Anywhere wants Access to my iCloud Account

Movies Anywhere and iTunes Cross-Connection

I just purchased a movie from a local retailer. It comes with a Code for Download.

Movies Anywhere wants access to my iCloud account. Seems connecting the two will allow accessibility of this purchase from both archives. I just want accessibility to to purchase from iTunes.

Is enabling this account/account cross-connection safe to perform? -- Is it required in order for everything to be playable?

Hey, TheLittles.

I see that you're wondering about an offer you were given to use Movies Anywhere after you purchased a movie that came with a download code. You want to be certain the Apple ID you use for iCloud remains secure, and I'm glad to help.

Connect your Apple ID to your Movies Anywhere account -- Apple has provided this information regarding your Apple ID and Movies Anywhere. Connecting your Apple ID with Movies Anywhere allows you to access movies you've purchased from many different venders on all of your devices. You're free to choose whether you'd like to use this service or not.

Take care.
