How to stop Books showing books in a series I don't own?

I use Books 1.19 on macOS 10.14 to browse the books that I own. This feature used to work great, but now if Books thinks a book is part of a series, then it shows all books in the series, even ones I don't own! This is very frustrating because it shows books I have no interest in whatsoever. Apple, just because I bought "Body Sculpting for Men" does not mean "Body Sculpting for Women" should be part of my library too! I am not a woman!! Is there any way to get the unpurchased books out of my library? Thanks
