ipad pro stuck on apple logo

My iPad Pro is stuck on the Apple logo and won't turn off. Suggestions?

Try a reboot: Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time (keep holding past swipe to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go.

Appreciate your response. That may have worked... already with tech support, and the primary tech suggested the power and side buttons which didn't work. The senior advisor made your suggestion among others and it appears to be making progress. Your suggestion may have made all the difference had I read it first. Thank you!
