Apple Watch face popped out of hardware

My Apple Watch Sport face popped out yesterday. There was no drop, no break the face just burst out as I was driving. It’s over a year old ...how can I get it fixed? Is it even worth it or am I better off to buy a new one. Why the heck did it happen anyway. It’s not like I am a heavy user ... I just don’t want to buy a new one and have this happen again?.

I had this happen to my Series 2 about a year after I bought it. Took it to an Apple Store and they almost immediately said it was a “swollen batter” issue and I got a new watch in the mail about two days later, no charge. Don’t panic, let an Apple tech take a look.
