Iphone email troubles

My wife and I see each other's email on our iphones. She has a 6 Plus and I have a 5 SE. We recently changed our email passwords. We have AOL email accounts. Now I can still see her email but she cannot see mine. I have deleted my email account on her phone and added it back multiple times without success. I've added smtp.aol.com for email servers without success. There is an error on her phone when trying to receive my email on her phone. It references the imap.aol.com. My email user name and password are correct. I'm at a loss now. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If you have AOL Mail in an app with 2-step verification enabled then you'll need to generate an app password for each device you use.

Enabling 2-step verification gives your account an extra layer of security. When you access your account through a 3rd party app, though, you'll need to generate an app password for each device you use.
