can I use both itunes 10.7 AND 12.9 on the same mac?

OK. Here's my dilemna. I do most of my listening on my mac run through an amp to external speakers.

I've had my new Mac,10.14.5, for about 2 years now. I've had to use it and itunes 12.9.5 to sync to my iphone and imac.

I have kept my old computer to play music using itunes 10.7. Biggest reasons being

1. You cannot just click once on a playlist to open it in a new window.

2. The volume control, forward-reverse, etc. no longer appears at the top of the playlist window when it is opened in a seperate window. So you have to jump back and forth in the windows to change anything while playing.

3. You can no longer shrink the entire window to a very small size, like 2". The green button USED to do that, and you could drag it to make it as small or large as you wanted to.

I just had a hard drive failure on the old mac, but had it backed up on an external.

Is there anyway that I can have both versions of itunes installed on my new mac, and use one for playing and one for syncing? I have extremely large digital libraries (2TB each), both backed up on seperate Hard drives.

Any suggestions?

Thanx in advance.
