I'm switching my iPhone from T-Mobile to AT&T -- back-up advice?

I'm seeking back-up recommendations.

I'm switching my iPhone 6 cellular provider from T-Mobile to Consumer Cellular/AT&T.

I've already purchased a new Consumer Cellular/AT&T SIM card which is required by the new provider. Before I remove the current SIM card and while I'm still with T-Mobile, I want to make sure I'm backing up what's necessary. I've done iCloud backup of the text messages within my Messages app so I believe I'm okay there.

My big question is: How do I backup other Phone data, in particular, my Voicemail messages?

I discovered that I can air-drop Voicemail messages one-at-a-time to iTunes on my iMac, but that's a pretty tedious process. Is there a better way to do that?

Also, are there other back-up tasks which I should do? Any advice, links, or tutorials would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much.

Plug your device into your iTunes computer and choose to make a full backup to that computer. Also make a backup to iCloud (they are not the same thing)
